About Us
The mission of the Shifa Society at USF is to create a welcoming and supportive community for Muslim pre-health students that promotes their academic, personal, spiritual, and professional development while nurturing Islamic principles. The organization provides academic resources, mentorship, volunteering events, networking opportunities, and professional development programs that integrate values such as justice, integrity, compassion, in all areas of healthcare. Shifa is dedicated to helping members grow as successful future health professionals while encouraging the balance of faith, service, and professional life. All programs, events, and opportunities offered by Shifa are open to all USF students regardless of faith, background, identity, or prior pre-health experience.
