About Us

The main goal of the USFSP Puppy Raisers is to support members of the St. Petersburg community by aiding in the growth and development of future guide and veteran service dogs through the nonprofit Southeastern Guide Dogs. As a student-led organization, we aim to have students both on and off-campus raising and/or assisting these future superhero puppies on their journey. While there is an established residential program geared to our mission, all students are welcome to join us rather that be to raise awareness of working dogs, puppy sitting, puppy raising, or simply because they love dogs! In the future, we hope to extend our outreach to a larger variety of dog-based organizations in our community!
