About Us
The mission of SALAM (Students' Arab Leadership for Aid & Mission) is to unite students in service by addressing the diverse needs of our campus and surrounding community. Rooted in Arab values of compassion (rahma), generosity (karam), and community (jama'a), SALAM provides meaningful volunteer opportunities-such as tutoring underprivileged students, supporting healthcare outreach, leading sustainability initiatives, organizing donation drives, and engaging with the elderly-that foster leadership, cultural awareness, and social responsibility. By creating spaces where students can grow through service, SALAM not only uplifts the community but also equips its members with skills and experiences that strengthen their academic journeys and future careers.
