About Us
Over half of seniors in care facilities rarely get visitors. GlamourGals at USF is changing that. We’re a student-led group bridging the generational gap by bringing joy to Tampa seniors through companionship and GG Makeovers—manicures and makeovers fostering meaningful connections. Founded in 2000, GlamourGals fights elderly loneliness. Our chapter partners with local senior homes for events like makeovers, card-making, and bracelet-making, while hosting on-campus activities to boost student engagement and personal growth. Supported by the GlamourGals Foundation, we uplift seniors’ sense of community and self-worth, while volunteers gain from service and community involvement.
