Follow these steps to register as a senior scholar at USF.

✅ STEP 1: COMPLETE THE ADMISSION FORM

• Free for senior scholars

• Apply online: https://secure.vzcollegeapp.com/usf/default.aspx

• After submitting, you’ll receive a U Number

✅ STEP 2: ACTIVATE YOUR NETID

• Go to: https://netid.usf.edu/Activate

• Use your U Number to create a USF login

✅ STEP 3: SUBMIT MMR IMMUNIZATION RECORDS

• Ask your doctor for your MMR titers (Measles, Mumps, Rubella antibody levels)

• Upload them: https://form.jotform.com/211335806421144

✅ STEP 4: GET YOUR USF ID CARD

• Available online or in person

✅ STEP 5: GET A PARKING PERMIT (IF NEEDED)

• Only needed if driving to campus

✅ STEP 6: CHOOSE YOUR CLASSES

• Search classes: https://studentssb9.it.usf.edu/StudentRegistrationSsb/ssb/term/termSelection?mode=search

• Use the filters to narrow the choices and check seat availability

✅ STEP 7: RESEARCH THE INSTRUCTOR

• Find professor reviews: https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/school/1262

✅ STEP 8: LEARN CANVAS (USF’S ONLINE CLASS SYSTEM)

✅ STEP 9: COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION WORKSHEET

• Download: https://www.usf.edu/registrar/documents/forms/senior-citizen-tuition-waiver.pdf

Then:

1) Email the teacher and start a conversation, you can ask them to sign the worksheet and return it to you by email or wait untill the first class.

2) Attend the first day of class and introduce yourself to the teacher.

3) Submit the signed worksheet before Friday of week one:

◦ OR deliver to the Registrar’s Office

Note: If at least 1 seat is available at the begining of week two and you have completed everything correctly, you’ll be enrolled!
