Dr Turner has been providing services to Persons with Disabilities and the Elderly for almost two decades; and has owned and operated several healthcare businesses including Assisted Living Facilities and a Nurse Registry. She is an accredited Core Trainer for the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA).
Her special interest is Alzheimer’s disease, and she is passionate about creating public awareness by providing information and offering practical help to sufferers of the disease and their caregivers. She believes there is a strong need to educate society about this disease that is claiming so many lives. And in this regard, Dr Turner has graciously accepted the role of Community Educator for the Alzheimer’s Association, Gulf Coast region where her role includes providing information on detecting the disease, and treatments currently available for slowing down it’s progression.
