The purpose of the PTS (Pre-health Training Society) is to plan and execute workshops with local medical professionals that teach a specific skill such as suturing or triaging, or that run through specific situations such as case studies or mass casualty incidents. This will serve to provide pre-health students with a better understanding of their potential careers and help them get ahead with basic pieces of training that will serve them well in professional school or beyond.

Dr. Ronald Kennedy will present an interactive workshop that focuses on patient communication skills through case studies and real life scenarios. Students will be able to learn how to build trust, listen actively, explain medical information clearly, and handle challenging conversations with patients. Food will be provided and business casual attire is highly recommended, we can't wait to see everyone there!
