About Us

GIS Club is a group initiated by students in the School of Geosciences at the University of South Florida that aims to facilitate collaboration, synergies, social networking, and mutual learning among undergraduate and graduate students who are working on or interested in Geographic Information Science (GIS). The goal of the club is to foster an active community to promote research, teaching, and outreach activities related to GIS. The Club will periodically organize seminars on a wide range of topics in flexible formats, including but not limited to the research presentation, workshops in career development, group discussion, and brainstorming.
