About Us
The purpose and goals of this student organization is to: - Provide social support and career coaching for AAPI medical students o AAPI populations includes but are not limited to a person with origins or identifies as having heritage in any of the original peoples of Asia, the Indian subcontinent, or the Pacific islands. For example, China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Samoa, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bhutan - Establish a mentor-mentee relationship and community between AAPI medical students - Encourage networking between AAPI medical students and faculty for research and/or educational opportunities - Provide teaching hours for associated AAPI student mentors
