Universities Allied for Essential Medicines (UAEM)

About Us

Create an interdisciplinary community of students committed to advancing equitable access to medicines and health technologies. UAEM at USF provides educational events, speaker panels, collaborative programs, advocacy opportunities, and connections with healthcare professionals, researchers, and community organizations to explore how medical discoveries move from research and innovation to the patients and communities who need them. The organization is dedicated to raising awareness of barriers to healthcare access, encouraging meaningful student involvement, and empowering future professionals to promote equity, accessibility, and social responsibility in medicine and global health. All programs, events, and opportunities offered by UAEM at USF are open to all USF students regardless of major, background, identity, or prior experience.
