Our Mission
The Art Historian’s Guild at the University of South Florida is a student organization that aims to expand upon the knowledge of Art History. We aim to create a space that welcomes people of all majors and backgrounds to cultivate and educate a community of art-lovers. Additionally, we promote student attendance to guest speaker events organized by the College of Design, Art & Performance and encourage students to become an active member in the art community of the Tampa Bay Area. Monthly meetings will be held to discuss Art History and supplemental events will be held throughout the semester to foster a strong community. On a larger scale, The Guild works to not only increase the depth of Art History education at USF, but also to promote a network for students to learn study tactics, research methods, and how to express creative ideas.
