About Us

The Sailing Team is a member of the South Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (SAISA). Practice is held at the Waterfront on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3:30pm to dark. Practice and competitions run both fall and spring semester. The sailing team competes throughout 7 other Conferences in the US. The team practices and competes in conjunction with the Varsity Women's Sailing Team. There are approximately 45 Sailing Team members who devote a portion of their college experience to athletics. There is a diverse range in a ability and commitment; there is a role every team members has in improving the competitive record of the Co-ed Sailing Team.
