About Us

Empowerment, Sisterhood, and connection. The purpose of SUMA is to create a social, educational, and inspirational environment for Muslim and non-Muslim women. SUMA provides a meaningful space for students to bond and grow as sisters and promotes personal and community development events. Our mission is to build a comfortable space for everyone, and of course, have fun doing it! We benefit the USF community by providing a source of knowledge regarding diverse cultures, religions, and student groups while promoting fellowship between Muslim and non-Muslim USF students. SUMA is an active community offering weekly gatherings of knowledge, social events, and powerful speakers and workshops. SUMA has no affiliations with any outside organization.
