About Us

This is the student chapter directly affiliated with Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières. Previously known as Doctors Without Borders USF, Friends of MSF at USF is a multicultural, non religious, non politically affiliated, and neutral humanitarian group providing medical aid/care where it's needed most on both a global and local scale.The student chapter aims to raise awareness about a variety of MSF's Campaigns, fundraise for MSF, assist in providing medical assistance, but most importantly eradicate any form of injustice. All students and majors are welcome! We accept undergraduates and graduate students. About Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF): An international, independent, medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare. MSF offers assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation. MSF is a non-profit, self-governed organization. Today, MSF is a worldwide movement of 24 associations, bound together as MSF International, based in Switzerland. Thousands of health professionals, logistical and administrative staff – most of whom are hired locally – work on programs in more than 60 countries.
