The Golden Egg Rural Health Quest

The Golden Egg Rural Health Quest is a high-energy Easter-themed campus event that blends fun, teamwork, and purpose.

Participants will form teams and embark on a campus-wide egg hunt where each hidden egg contains more than just candy—it includes clues, mini-challenges, and quick facts related to rural healthcare, access disparities, and community impact. Some eggs will lead teams to interactive stations where they must complete tasks such as:

- Solving quick clinical or public health scenarios
- Answering rural health trivia
- Participating in hands-on mini challenges (like “build a care plan” or “triage in 60 seconds”)

The ultimate goal? Find the Golden Egg, which represents innovative solutions to healthcare disparities in rural communities.

Along the way, participants will learn about real-world issues while competing for prizes, making connections, and engaging with FHPRA’s mission. The event closes with a short reflection tying the activity back to the importance of improving healthcare access in underserved areas.
