9/11 Week of Service - Stampede of Service: Volunteer at Feeding Tampa Bay's Warehouse (2.5 hrs. of Service)

Join The CLCE Staff for this Stampede of Service: 9/11 Week of Service as we dive into the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero Hunger. In this hands-on experience, students will support Feeding Tampa Bay, by assisting in warehouse sorting at their Causeway Center in Brandon. Volunteers will help inspect perishable and/or non-perishable foods for their expiration date and quality, then package those good foods into bags/boxes that will be distributed to our neighbors soon thereafter.

ALL volunteers MUST wear closed-toe shoes (i.e. sneakers) for warehouse safety. Volunteers wearing open-toe shoes will not be allowed to volunteer. Appropriate attire includes shirts with sleeves (no tank-tops), and jeans or shorts of appropriate length.

We encourage you to wear any USF green and gold apparel you have. If you would like to pick up a CLCE "Create Positive Change" shirt make sure to swing by our office (MSC 3302), and show a staff member that you are registered for the upcoming service event to receive a shirt.

Please Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your service to ensure a smooth check-in. When you arrive to the service location, please remember to check-in using the BullsConnect Check-In sheet at the front desk.
