Good morning First_Name and happy Monday! As we approach the end of the semester I want to wish you a stress-free and successful conclusion. We will not be meeting this week for a GBM but elections are around the corner. Elections are one of the most important meetings when you get to directly have an effect on the future of this organization. Next Monday, April 18th, please join us at 5pm in MSC 2708 for Elections. All executive board positions will be up for reelection. The elections process is expected to run a similar length as a normal meeting, concluding near 6pm. The next executive board should be announced at the end of the meeting and will be transitioned over the next couple of weeks. If you are a paid member, there will be a check-in table outside of the room to hand out ballots. I thank you in advance for your cooperation and participation in the evolution of PAMSA!

COVID Statement
As a Pre-Med organization, the health and safety of our members is our top priority. Please be aware that masks will be required at all PAMSA meetings to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Make sure to watch for University updates by visiting their Coronavirus website.

Group Tutoring Sessions
Tutoring has changed! Drop- in tutoring sessions will replace our older group tutoring sessions. Drop-in tutoring will occur weekly on Wednesday from 4:30 to 5pm. Please join us in the library LIB 436 with all your Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Biochemistry Questions.

One-on-One Tutoring
Our Tutoring Division is holding virtual one on one tutoring sessions, which you can sign up for on our website.
  1. Schedule 48 hours in advance, cancel 24 hours in advance
  2. Using Microsoft Teams/Zoom for a 1-on-1 session
  3. Confirm/communicate via email within 24 hours
  4. 1-hour time limit
  5. 2 sessions max per week/member
  6. Canceling after the 24 hour period may result in not being able to sign up for tutoring within 2# of weeks and evaluate it case by case
  7. Go to www.usfpamsa.net to book the session.
  8. Your tutor will call you into a Teams meeting on the date and time requested.
Mentorship Opportunity
Are you interested in a mentorship opportunity with Medical Students from the Morsani College of Medicine? Mentees will be able to communicate with current medical students to ask questions about the medical school application process, undergraduate classes, medical school life, etc. Please use the following LINK to sign-up.

Please join us as we prepare to elect the next USF PAMSA Executive Board! Candidates for each position will each give a short speech to our members outlining why they are running for an executive board position and where they hope to take PAMSA in the next year. At the end of the meeting, PAID MEMBERS will be able to cast their votes for their choices for the next executive board which will be announced at the end of our meeting. We hope to see you there!
