October 2023 Newsletter
Greetings Everyone!
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the professors, students, and student organizations who spread the message about SOQM and who attended our September panel discussion "Qualitative Research Across Disciplines." We are happy to share the news that a record-breaking number of USF students participated in the event (around 50 attendees). Thank you!
Thank you to our panelists, Dr. Dinorah Martinez Tyson, Department of Public Health, Dr. Jenni Wolgemuth, College of Education, and Dr. Rebecca Zarger, Department of Anthropology, for sharing your unique experiences and showing us the world of qualitative inquiry across disciplines!
If you want to watch (or re-watch) our panel, you can find the video recording on our BullsConnect page.
Again, thank you for being with us! We value you and need your help in making our organization successful. So, if you are interested in contributing to the development of our organization, join one of our committees, share this newsletter with your classmates, and/or send us your thoughts about the topics within qualitative inquiry you would like us to host an event or share the sources about. Let’s establish our community of qualitative researchers across the disciplines together!
Your 2023-2024 SOQM Board,
~Dasha, Andrea, Kristin, and Nicole
