Master the SOLIDWORKS Workflow: Learn about 2D Sketching, 3D Modeling and Engineering Drawing Sheets

Learn how engineers transform simple sketches into accurate 3D models using SOLIDWORKS. In this beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop, participants will learn about Engineering Drawing sheets and explore the SOLIDWORKS interface, sketching tools, dimensions, geometric constraints, and essential modeling features such as Extrude, Cut, Fillet, and Chamfer.

Participants will build a complete Certified SolidWorks Associate exam style mechanical part from scratch and create a basic ANSI/ASME engineering drawing with standard views, dimensions, and annotations. The workshop will also briefly introduce real-world applications of SOLIDWORKS, including assemblies, simulation, flow analysis, CAM, manufacturing, and product development.

No previous SOLIDWORKS experience is required.
