The Health Management Student Association professional series speaker event connects students with experienced healthcare management professionals. These experts share their insights, experiences, and career paths, giving students a real-world understanding of the industry. The event also provides networking opportunities for students to build connections and seek guidance for their future careers.

In late 2023, Joseph (Joe) Primavera, MHA, FACHE, joined Johns Hopkins All Children’s as the executive director for the Cancer and Blood Disorders Institute. Prior to moving to Florida, Joe was the Oncology Service Line Leader at Indiana University Health, East Central Region, where he was responsible for regional operations and strategy across medical oncology, radiation oncology, infusion and supportive services at three locations. He also led the growth and sustainability of participation by these centers in a statewide precision genomics program and oral chemotherapy navigation program. Joe earned a bachelor of science in public health – health administration and a master of health administration at Indiana University. Joe recently became a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds multiple certifications in lean and quality processes. His wife, children (Henry & Lucy), and sheepadoodle fill his time outside of work with excitement and adventure!

Don't miss the opportunity to gain valuable insight from this esteemed speaker!
