Get involved by prepping the Forest Preserve for prescribed burns! Volunteers will help remove ladder fuels that could send fire into the canopy, remove girdling from Turkey Oaks (Quercus laevis), and more! Email Carrie Thor at cjthor@usf.edu if you're interested in getting sweaty in nature while working on land conservation!
