Details

This meeting will focus on key updates and upcoming initiatives for SWS members. We will go over important upcoming events, including Zen Week and the March 31st Social Work Celebration. There will be a discussion on cords, covering the cost, application process, and distribution details. Updates on the LEAD program will be shared, including mandatory requirements, USF financial support, and participation guidelines. We will also explore ways for students to get involved in advocacy and political initiatives, as well as various volunteer opportunities available across different campuses. Additionally, we will discuss the current status of fundraising efforts and grant opportunities. Lastly, we will go over details about the NASW-FL Conference and ongoing social work advocacy initiatives.
