Join us in celebrating International Day of Forests! This global observance, recognized by the United Nations, aims to highlight the critical role forests play in combating global warming. As natural carbon sinks, forests absorb 2.6 billion tons of CO₂ each year—about one-third of the CO₂ emitted from burning fossil fuels. While they can't solve climate change alone, protecting and preserving these vital ecosystems is essential to restoring a healthy balance of CO₂ in our atmosphere. Through educational talks, community tree planting initiatives, and interactive workshops, this event will raise awareness about the importance of protecting forests and inspire action towards their conservation. Together, let’s safeguard forests for a healthier planet!
