The Nelson Poynter Memorial Library at USF St. Petersburg, in partnership with San Jose State University, will present a gallery exhibition tour, documentary screening, activities, and discussion centered on youth experiences during the war in Ukraine.

Professor Ulia Gosart and her colleague, Sara Clair, both of San Jose State University’s School of Information, will discuss the exhibition of a selection of Ukrainian children's artwork from the art therapy initiative - “Children Draw War, Not Flowers” - now on view in the Poynter Library Gallery through March 21, 2025.

The exhibit tour will be followed by a screening of A Woman at War, a short documentary by Ukrainian filmmaker, Volodymyr Sydko, along with discussion, activities, and a viewing of the project’s expanded exhibition in a VR environment.
