Got Your Six

The "Got Your Six" course at the University of South Florida is a veteran cultural competency program designed to dismantle biases and enhance understanding of veteran experiences within the academic setting. This program addresses and corrects misconceptions about veterans, highlighting their unique perspectives and contributions. It provides faculty, staff, and students with the knowledge and tools to challenge stereotypes and foster a more inclusive and supportive environment for veteran students.
