What is METS?
METS is a student-founded nonprofit advocating for increased STEM education and literacy for underrepresented and underprivileged youth.

METS partners with elementary schools across the Tampa Bay area to give students the opportunity to dive deeper into science and technology through STEM Nights.

STEM Nights provide a space where students can ask bold questions, form new ideas, and explore the possibilities that lie beyond the classroom’s textbooks.

Each science fair booth at a STEM night aligns with a STEM career and corresponds with one or more Next Generation Sunshine State Standards (NGSSS), the core curriculum set for Florida public schools by the Florida Department of Education.
