Join us on a fun and educational kayaking event at Little Sarasota Bay on Saturday, Sep 28th.

We will dock off from Turtle Beach Boat Ramp in Sarasota, learn about the maintenance, restoration, and progress of Jim Neville Island Preserve and the chain of islands in Little Sarasota Bay. Also, we will learn about the effects of stormwater run-off into Sarasota Bay.

Location:
Turtle Beach Boat Ramp along Midnight Pass Road

Time:
We have to be there by 8:15 AM.

Transportation:
We usually have volunteers that are willing to come pick up students from campus. If you want to volunteer for this event, reach out.

Fees:
This event is completely free. No fees associated with renting kayaks.

Food:
We can grab lunch after the event together. However, bring snacks and water.

Unfortunately, seating is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
