Debate workshop

In this engaging workshop, we will focus on the Innovative Exchange debate format. Participants will take part in a mini debate on the topic, "China vs. Russia: Which Country Poses a Greater Threat to U.S. National Security?" This timely and significant question will prompt students to analyze and discuss key global security concerns.

Innovative Exchange Format: In this unique format, students will come together to explore the important issues facing the world today. Each student will be invited to the front of the room to deliver an uninterrupted speech for 2-3 minutes, presenting their stance on the debate topic. Following the speech, fellow participants will have 1-2 minutes to ask insightful questions, fostering a dynamic and interactive learning environment.

This format encourages not only the development of persuasive speaking skills but also active listening and critical questioning, all while addressing one of the most pressing geopolitical questions of our time.
