Not all roaches live in kitchens and survive off of crumbs. Some roaches spend their entire lives inside of fallen logs, feasting on the wood within. In this seminar, we will talk all about the colonial woods roach species Cryptocercus punctulatus and learn what they can teach us about family and the evolution of the microbiome.
