Officer Training Series - Succession Planning

The Officer Training Series is an open-invite, weekly training focused on student organization officers. Each session, we discuss various topics that pertain to student organization leadership, and all student organization officers are invited to attend, connect with their fellow officers and CLCE staff.

In the session, participants will learn about the succession planning and transition process for USF student organizations. We will discuss ideal timeframes for transition periods, actions to take pre-, during, and post-transition to ensure organizational sustainability, as well as review checklist items that can apply to many student organizations. We will also discuss ‘pitfalls’ and solutions to fixing problems that may inadvertently arise in transition.
