Mission
The purpose of this student organization is to learn and practice Mandarin for healthcare settings. Our immediate goal will be to learn how to perform a History and Physical (H&P) in Mandarin Chinese. Our long-term goal is to better prepare future physicians to serve a diverse immigrant patient population. Activities will include the development and deployment of a novel curriculum for teaching Medical Mandarin Chinese, providing health fair services for local Mandarin-speaking communities, and educating medical students about cultural differences that may impact effective healthcare delivery.
