HMSA Speaker Series: Anthony Moorehead

The Health Management Student Association professional series speaker event connects students with experienced healthcare management professionals. These experts share their insights, experiences, and career paths, giving students a real-world understanding of the industry. The event also provides networking opportunities for students to build connections and seek guidance for their future careers.

Mr. Moorehead was selected as the Assistant Director for the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital and Clinics on February 27, 2022. As the Assistant Director, he is responsible for six services including the business office, communications, community development and charged with leading Veterans Experience and Employee Engagement efforts across the Healthcare System. He has had details as the Associate Director in New Haven, CT at VA Connecticut Healthcare System and is currently the Interim Associate Director at James A. Haley.
