The Geoscience Graduate Student Organization (GGSO) is an academic organization designed to meet the unique needs of graduate students of the School of Geosciences at USF.

The GGSO is an academic organization designed to meet the unique needs of graduate students of the School of Geosciences at USF. The primary responsibility of GGSO is to the graduate body of the School of Geosciences, however, its activities are open to students, staff, and faculty members from all academic levels and interests. GGSO provides educational workshops on a variety of subjects, field trips to sites of geologic interest, participation in community and campus outreach projects, and provides an active voice for graduate students in departmental affairs. We work to foster beneficial connections with alumni and undergraduates. GGSO provides active voice within the department in the form of liaisons, and strives to maintain communication between grad students and faculty.
