The 3D HAB-Lab aims to mentor, teach, and engage USF students in fabrication techniques (3D Printing, Lazer Cutting, etc.) employed for restorative habitat design. Students align interests in engineering, design, art, and ecology to create working solutions for habitat loss locally, and globally. We encompass all design-build projects to further animal architecture and conservation biology. Additionally, we seek to inform and educate students in interdisciplinary educational opportunities through guest speakers, networking opportunities, and field work.

We're a group of passionate students intent on changing mental health perceptions by providing accurate, educational information on mental health illnesses. Our mission is to prepare students at USF to recognize, understand, and address one of the most prevalent and underserved areas in healthcare. Substance use disorders affect every discipline and patient population, yet addiction remains stigmatized in society and underrepresented in medical education. The responsibility of the Administrative Advisory Council (AAC) will be to consider and make recommendations to the appropriate authorities on matters of interest to the University community.

USF has three organizations that advise the President on matters of interest. They are the AAC, Staff Senate, and the Faculty Senate. The AAC represents all administration and professional employees. In academic year 2024-2025, USF's AAC was made up of 51 representatives elected from a body of approximately 3700 constituents. The membership proportionately represents Vice Presidential units within the University and its campuses.

Survivors of sexual violence and intimate partner violence are patients that will be encountered along every stage of the healthcare journey and in every specialty. Advocacy for Survivors aims to bridge the educational gap on how to support survivors in a trauma-informed way both in healthcare and as a friend. AFS focuses upon providing educational events by professional advocates, physicians, and more, and organizing outreach events to health students. AFS also organizes students to sign up to volunteer with our partner organization the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay in emergency departments to advocate for a patient undergoing a forensic or medical exams.

The Agrarian Club is inspired by agrarian ideals, which are expressed in a devotion to the land (the place where we live) and the health of local ecologies of nature, economics, and culture. Those who support those ideals are agrarians - regardless of political or religious affiliation. Agrarians are naturally interested in sustainable local food production, the Agrarian Club is no exception. The Club works in conjunction with the Dept of Religious Studies and its program in Religion and Sustainability. There is a special focus on the department's courses in Religion and Food, its Service Learning course in Agrarianism and the Sacred, its ongoing support of the USF Botanical Gardens, and its dedicated vegetable production site at the Gardens. The Club welcomes students who are interested in joining with others to learn about vegetable gardening (growing their own food), local food systems, sustainable living, and promoting agrarian ideals. There is no explicit religious dimension to the Club, other than the fact that it is related to and occurs in the context of the RS Department's systems that relate to ecology, sustainability, and food study.

Since its founding on December 4, 1906, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has supplied voice and vision to the struggle of African-Americans and people of color around the world. Alpha Phi Alpha, the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African-Americans, was founded at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York by seven college men who recognized the need for a strong bond of Brotherhood among African descendants in this country. The visionary founders, known as the "Jewels" of the Fraternity, are Henry Arthur Callis, Charles Henry Chapman, Eugene Kinckle Jones, George Biddle Kelley, Nathaniel Allison Murray, Robert Harold Ogle, and Vertner Woodson Tandy. The Fraternity initially served as a study and support group for minority students who faced racial prejudice, both educationally and socially, at Cornell. The Jewel founders and early leaders of the Fraternity succeeded in laying a firm foundation for Alpha Phi Alpha's principles of scholarship, fellowship, good character, and the uplifting of humanity. Alpha Phi Alpha chapters were established at other colleges and universities, many of them historically black institutions, soon after the founding at Cornell. The first Alumni Chapter was established in 1911. While continuing to stress academic excellence among its members, Alpha also recognized the need to help correct the educational, economic, political, and social injustices faced by African-Americans. Alpha Phi Alpha has long stood at the forefront of the African-American community's fight for civil rights through leaders such as: W.E.B. DuBois, Adam Clayton Powell, Jr., Edward Brooke, Martin Luther King, Jr., Thurgood Marshall, Andrew Young, William Gray, Paul Robeson, and many others. True to its form as the "first of firsts," Alpha Phi Alpha has been interracial since 1945.

Black Women in Law (BWL) as a group works to provide opportunities for Black undergraduates to learn more about the journey to law school, the application process, and law school itself. The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club at USF trains primarily no-gi Jiu Jitsu for self defense, sport BJJ competition, and MMA. No-gi Jiu Jitsu is similar to wrestling in its methods for controlling an opponent, however it differs in that we seek to neutralize our opponent through joint locks and chokes rather than pinning our opponent. No experience is necessary and we train in a very safe manner, come and check us out!
