What does it really mean to serve? Join the Center for Leadership & Civic Engagement (CLCE) during National Service Week for an engaging Civic Conversation with Doug Griesenauer, Vice President of Community Impact at United Way Suncoast.
Explore how everyday acts of service can create meaningful change and strengthen our communities. Through conversation and reflection, students will learn about the power of civic engagement, community partnerships, and using their passions and skills to make a difference.
Whether you are already involved in service or looking for your first opportunity to get connected, this conversation will inspire you to show up, serve, and make an impact.
Learning Outcomes
At the conclusion of this program, students who actively engage will be able to:
- Explain how service can create meaningful change in communities.
- Identify different ways to get involved and make an impact.
- Connect their personal interests and skills to opportunities for service.
- Recognize how individual actions can contribute to larger community change.
