About Kimberly Bruce

Kimberly Bruce is a Managing Director and leads a middle market banking team covering West and North Florida for CIBC. As one of the five largest banks in Canada with $921B in assets, CIBC maintains its global headquarters in Toronto and US headquarters in Chicago. In middle market banking, her team works with public and private companies with annual revenues between $25 million and $4 billion to provide commercial lending, treasury, capital markets and financial and risk management solutions.

Prior to joining CIBC, Kimberly was the National Small Business Client Management Executive at Bank of America where she was responsible for leading a line of business with more than $4B in loans, $13B in deposits and 100,000+ client relationships across the U.S. With nearly three decades of commercial banking and capital markets experience, she has held various leadership roles focused on working with companies to develop strategic financial solutions and partnerships. Also, as a senior executive at Bank of America she served as an Executive Advisor in their strategic services agreement work with China Construction Bank, in addition to leading other line of business change initiative projects.

Kimberly earned her B.A. in Government & Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and her MBA from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. She is currently a doctoral candidate in the University of South Florida DBA program. She also has held Finra (NASD) Series 7 and 63 licenses.

Active in her local community, Kimberly currently serves on the Board of Directors for Florida Health Sciences Center, Inc, as Finance Committee Chair & Treasurer, as Audit Chair and Past Board Chair for The Florida Aquarium, and member of Women Corporate Directors. She has previously been recognized by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as Tampa Bay Business Woman of Year and a "40 under 40'" honoree. Kimberly has also served in various leadership capacities in the Tampa community including as Treasurer and Executive Board Member for The Center for Women Centre and as a past member of the Board for The Florida Venture Forum and Association for Corporate Growth.
