Fall 2025 School of Theatre and Dance Performance Studio Courses Auditions Information.

About the BFA Senior Projects:

Students in their final two semesters of the BFA track create a solo one semester and a group work in the other semester. These pieces are produced as a part of the School of Theatre & Dance's mainstage season at the end of each semester.  Concerts are open to the public and are some of our most well-attended concerts on our calendar.

Submit your Audition Form by 12pm on Monday Aug 25th!

We are excited to announce that the BFA Dance Senior Projects will be divided into two showcase performances for Fall '25:

Elysium - Dance BFA Fall Showcase will be on Monday December 1st at 7:30pm in Theater 1

Eunoia - Dance BFA Fall Showcase will be on Tuesday December 2nd  at 7:30pm in Theater 1.

Rehearsals and Mid-point Showing

BFA group works rehearse on Monday evenings from 7:30-9:30pm and on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:30pm & 7:30-9:30pm (There will be NINE group works in Fall '25).

Cast lists with exact rehearsal times will be posted here after the audition.

Rehearsals will begin the 1st week of classes, unless otherwise notated on the cast list.

Throughout the semester, Bliss and Sadie will be watching the works-in-process. This will happen either during your scheduled rehearsal or during the lunch break between Ballet 3/4 and Modern 2/3/4.

Save The Date - BFA Dance Seniors Midpoint Showings are on Monday October 20th!  The midpoint showings are an opportunity for all faculty to watch the works individually and provide feedback/insights as choreographers move into their final weeks of rehearsals.

Note: Regularly scheduled dance classes will be affected on Midpoint Showings Day. Class format and attendance credit will be determined by each class' instructor.

On the audition form you will let the choreographers know your availability for the below. Which show each group will be in and the exact tech time will be posted with casting or by Friday Aug 29th at the latest.

• Elysium – Monday Dec 1st
  • 12-3pm = Tech Group Works in this concert
  • 3-5pm = Dress Rehearsal
  • 5:45pm = Call
  • 7:30pm = Performance

  • 12-3pm = Tech Group Works in this concert
  • 3-5pm = Dress Rehearsal
