Join us for the Torito Team Kickoff Meeting and get an inside look at one of SOAR’s most advanced and ambitious programs. Torito is our liquid propulsion team, focused on the end-to-end development of liquid-fueled rocket systems—from early concept and analysis to manufacturing, testing, and launch operations. Unlike solid motors, liquid propulsion introduces real-world engineering challenges such as fluid systems, valves, injectors, ignition, controls, and safety-critical operations, making Torito a highly hands-on and technically rigorous experience.

During this kickoff, we’ll walk through what liquid propulsion really entails, the structure of the Torito subteams (propulsion, structures, avionics, fluids, testing, and safety), and our goals for the upcoming build and test campaign. Whether you’re interested in propulsion, mechanical design, data analysis, or systems engineering—or just want to learn how liquid rockets work—this meeting is a great opportunity to see what Torito is about and how you can get involved.
