Preparing Solutions for the Unexpected.
Preparing Solutions for the Unexpected.
Equip the community with lifesaving knowledge through training, certifications, and on-the-ground readiness initiatives.
Drive readiness at scale by shaping curriculum, leading training efforts, and preparing the public for crises before they happen.
Design and deploy real emergency-response technology built by students solving real problems. Push the boundaries of student-led innovation with mission testing, advanced systems work, and technologies built for real-world impact.
The Society for Critical Operations and Preparedness Engineering (SCOPE) at the University of South Florida develops technologies and training that strengthen emergency readiness and public safety. Through projects like BullsAID, our team engineers autonomous response systems and sensor networks that enhance disaster awareness and coordination. We also provide hands-on experience in first-response training, health and safety certifications, and engineering leadership, empowering students to apply their technical skills to real-world humanitarian challenges.
