Mission Welcome, Runners! The Running Club at USF is a safe and encouraging environment for runners of all levels. We practice as a middle-distance oriented club, and provide members with the niche opportunity to register for in-state distance and track/field oriented events free of charge (Ex: 5K Races, 10K Races, and Track Meets (Spring)). Whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student, you are more than welcome to join!To participate in any sport-club at the University of South Florida (including ours), you are required to fill out the Sport Club Participation Waiver for the current academic year. You can find this on the Sport Club Council's BullsConnect page in their Files/More Tools section, or on our page by going to More Tools ----> Useful Links. Make sure to fill in both your full name and university ID # (Ex: John Smith U12345678) and submit the form, and you can join us at any upcoming practice!
Membership BenefitsOne of the biggest benefits of being an active member is free admission to any races the club participates in throughout the semester, which typically includes the 5K, 10K, and track/field races (Spring semester). We are an encouraging group of students that want to help you become the best runner you can be, without the pressure of committing to an athletic team. This semester's practices will take place on:Sunday Long Run: 6:30-9:00 AM (We will meet at the usual spot, and then leave for our off-campus long run) Tuesday Morning Workout: 6:00-7:00 AMWednesday Evening Run: 6:00-7:00 PMFriday Evening Run: 6:00-7:00 PM
