Vista Gardens

Interested in being outdoors and getting your hands a bit dirty in the process? Then here's a event for you! VISTA Gardens is a 3.31 acre Hillsborough Country Garden Park that looks to preserve the native foliage and butterfly population.

At this garden, volunteers would be helping out with tasks that needs to be done (planting, some weeding, composting, etc). Please be sure to bring some sunscreen and sun protection (caps/hats) in addition to water and snacks. Also be sure to wear closed toed shoes that you do not mind getting a bit dirty.

Gardening gloves, tools, equipment, and guidance will be provided.

This Sunday, we will be doing some fun activities including the following:
- Create a small herbal + flower bouquet to take home.
- Prepare garden soil and sow seeds in the cut-flower garden.
- Transplant seedlings in the Florida native plant landscapes - especially the Wildflower Garden and Woodland.
