Interested in being outdoors and getting your hands a bit dirty in the process? Want to help in sustainability of life under water? Join us as we partner with the Oyster River Ecology in creating Vertical Oyster Garden Anchors (VOGAs).

VOGA is made with assembling cured oyster shells on a stick. Which is then planted in bodies of water to help foster growth of oysters in the area. Volunteers would help with the assembly of these stakes.

Please be sure to bring/wear:
-Sunscreen
-Bug spray
-Water bottle
-Weather appropriate clothing
-Closed Toed shoes
some sunscreen and sun protection (caps/hats) in addition to water and snacks. Also be sure to wear closed toed shoes that you do not mind getting a bit dirty.

Gardening gloves, tools, equipment, and guidance will be provided.

Join the groupme for coordination the day of for the event (signing up would also redirect you to the group): https://groupme.com/join_group/106478998/RAUiICEY

Free food will be provided
