About Us

The USF Chapter of Pre-Med AMSA (American Medical Student Association) is a student run, pre-professional organization that exists to support and enhance the premedical experience for self-motivated, experience-seeking students. This chapter exists to assist fellow premedical students on the journey to medical school by providing opportunities and resources. There is an option to be a paid member. There is a membership fee of $75 for new members, and an annual $5 chapter fee. It is a rolling membership through 4 years, so if you joined in your freshman year it would keep you a member for 4 years. You will be a member of the National AMSA organization, not just our chapter, so it will carry over if you leave to go to another university. Paid members can get 1-on-1 tutoring, physician shadowing, career training, opportunity to win a $2500 Kaplan Course.
