About Us

The Pre-Genetic Counseling Club is an undergraduate student organization aiming to educate the USF community about the field of genetic counseling and provide a forum of support for the members of the club aiming to attend a Genetic Counseling graduate school through the process of preparation for applying to a Genetic Counseling graduate program. The club aims to conduct monthly Genetic Counselor informational interviews, educational meetings, and coordinate regularly with USF Genetic Counseling Graduate school, if possible, for additional support and guidance. The club also prioritizes emphasizing diversity and equity along with broadening the student perspectives of Genetic Counseling.
