Details

"It's Ok to Get Help", Conversations about mental health with suicide survivor Miguel Sierra. He will talk about suicide prevention: reasons, signs, triggers, and how can we intervene in suicidal situations. Miguel is also a suicide prevention specialist with the U.S. Army and is also a veteran. Miguel is an Afro-Latinx male with roots from the Dominican Republic and has been dedicating the last few years on educating Black and Brown men on mental health resources by creating spaces for dialogue and community.
