This coming Monday, the 3rd at 6:30pm, we will be having a Teaching Liturgy followed with fellowship. This special Liturgy will be led by Father Stavros as part of his larger Orthodoxy 101 class. A Teaching Liturgy follows the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom, except the alter table is brought down onto the solea. Father will pause periodically to explain the meaning behind each part of the service. This is a unique opportunity to get to see what is usually concealed behind the Iconostas. St. John the Baptist is off campus, if you need a ride, please feel free to reach out and we will arrange transport. We hope you will join us at St. John’s to celebrate Liturgy with dinner and fellowship to follow. We hope to see you there!
