Mission
The purpose and goals of this student organization are to learn and apply Vietnamese language skills, specifically in a healthcare setting. Our immediate aim is to first develop conversational Vietnamese skills so that our members may hold a conversation with Vietnamese-speaking patients and ultimately transition to taking a full History and Physical in Vietnamese. In doing so, we hope to improve cultural competency and prepare future physicians to interact with and serve the community of Vietnamese patients.
