About Us

Minorities in Pre-Law at the University of South Florida is a student organization dedicated to promoting the needs of minority students at the University of South Florida, increasing the number of minority students that go on to work in the legal field, and helping students excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community. Law is the least diverse profession in the United States, largely due to unequal access to legal education and many minorities finding themselves intimidated by a profession that has been historically exclusive toward them. We aim to act as the gateway between minority students and their futures in law by hosting social events with real members of the legal field, connecting students with discounts on legal exam preparation and internships, encouraging minority students to pursue judicial careers, and more!
