Hello MiMbers!!

Minorities in Medicine has partnered with Feeding Tampa Bay and will be hosting a group volunteering event! Feeding Tampa Bay is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting food insecurity and supporting individuals and families throughout the Tampa Bay community.


WHEN: Friday, September 18, 2026 (9:30 AM - 11:30 AM)
📍WHERE: 3624 Causeway Blvd, Tampa, FL 33619
❓WHAT: Volunteers will help inspect, sort, and pack essential items that will be distributed to our neighbors throughout the Tampa Bay area. 

REMINDERS: 
  • Please wear flat, closed-toe shoes. 👟
  • 🚫Please avoid wearing tank tops 🎽, sleeveless or short-cut shirts (crop tops), or short-shorts. 🩳
  • Orientation will be provided on-site at the beginning of the service.
  • Gloves and water will be available to volunteers on-site.
  • Please arrive on time so our group can check in and begin orientation together. 
Come join MiM and Feeding Tampa Bay as we work together to support our community and help provide essential resources to our neighbors!
