I hope y’all had a relaxing spring break. Minorities in Medicine has partnered with USF Botanical Gardens to bring a new volunteer opportunity for you guys! USF Botanical Gardens is an on-campus organization dedicated to promoting environmental conservation and education through their programs and events.
WHERE: 12210 USF Pine Drive, Tampa, FL 33612
WHEN: Sunday, April 6th from 1:30PM - 3:30PM
WHAT: Volunteers will be doing general gardening activities based on the needs of the garden at the time. Some examples include weeding, planting, mulching, and pruning.
REMINDERS:
• Recommended Attire: long pants and long sleeves to protect skin, close toes shoes, hats, and refillable water bottles.
• Biting insects aren't typically a problem unless the weather heats up.
• Volunteers must fill out a liability wavier located on the google form to register for the event.
• This event offers registered volunteer hours on Bullsconnect
• Only 25 spots are available so register while you can!
